Ooty (short for Udhagamandalam) is a resort town in the Western Ghats mountains in southern India's Tamil Nadu state. Founded as a British Raj summer resort, it retains a working steam railway line. Other reminders of its colonial past include Stone House, a 19th-century residence and the circa-1829 St. Stephen’s Church. Check-in to the resort in Ooty. After lunch, head out for sightseeing in Ooty. Visit Botanical Garden, Rose Garden, Emerald Lake, Ooty Boat House and other places at your convenience. Return to the resort for an overnight stay.
Visit Elk Temple in Ooty. Head towards Doddabetta and stroll around for shopping. Then, head back to the resort for an overnight stay.
Board Ooty toy train to Coonoor at 9:15 am. The driver will pick you up from Coonoor at 10 30 am. Visit SIMS Park Coonoor and some other places at your convenience. After sightseeing, head back to Ooty for an overnight stay.
On the way, visit Shooting point, Pykara Dam and Pine Forest. Then, visit Needle Rock viewpoint and Theppakad. Get a transfer Bangalore airport or Railway Station. This tour ends here.
